Hope Response is collecting resources so they can supply Navajo pastors with essentials to administer in the aftermath of Covid-19. Some communities have been hit very hard and lost many members. Hope Response is looking to provide necessary medical items and staple foods as well as “Grief Bags.” These bags are filled with a Hope Response book and devotional as well as other Christian media (Native Praise Christian Music CD, tracts in Navajo and English, etc.)

You can help by dropping off supplies or contributing financially to this cause. The cost of a “Grief Bag” is $45. Listed below are the desired items:

FOOD ITEMS:

  • Bluebird flour, canned goods, spam, pinto beans, noodles/pasta, mayonnaise, vegetables, red spaghetti sauce, baking powder, coffee, creamer, rice, cake mixes, salt, crisco, Hormel chili, tuna, canned chicken, carnation milk, green beans, corn, sweet peas, stewed tomatoes.

MEDICAL ITEMS:

  • Lysol spray, masks, hand sanitizer, paper towels, Vicks, antibacterial wipes, tissues.
